NYSC has implemented a Curriculum Guide for Volunteer Coaches to use at practice and have proceeded with the implementation of Double Sided Games.  This has championed us as one of the first Club’s in Canada that use this format to guarantee that players are enjoying upwards of 70% play time, as opposed to the 50% that is the usual Canadian Club norm.

NANAIMO YSC’S mid-season Volunteer Coaches Forum gave us an opportunity to communicate in person with our Volunteers as a group.  The sessions gave us valuable feedback on our Technical and Administrative programs, allowed for the sharing of ideas and suggestions, and afforded us an opportunity to outline some of the enhanced programming that NYSC will be introducing over the course of new year.

Many of you have commented on the design, implementation, and success of many of our new and/or enhanced Programs.  As part of our new Youth Initiative this year, NANAIMO YSC has been able to construct a Technical Team that offers an array of experience in our beautiful game and we hope you take a moment to get to know them a little better.
