Below is a listing of local area and out of area tournaments that you may be interested in. Please note, that if you wish to take a team to a tournament, you must have approval from the NYSC board before you register for the tournament. Please email president@nanaimosoccer.ca to request approval.
31ST ANNUAL KYSACUP YOUTH SOCCER TOURNAMENT ON HORIZON
KAMLOOPS, BC––The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association is staging the 31st edition of its popular “KYSACup” soccer tournament May 16-18, 2009 in the city known as the Tournament Capital.
Games will be held at the city’s premier sports complex on McArthur Island, at Hillside Stadium at Thompson-Rivers University, and on other city parks.
The event is open to boys and girls Metro, Gold and Silver teams in the U-12 to U-18 age groups.
Entries are being accepted up to and including April 14th.
The entry fee is $425.00 per team. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-in basis.
A three-game guarantee is granted each team that enters the tournament and medals are presented to the first- and second-place teams in each division.

2009 Lethbridge Football Club Tournaments (The Lethbridge Cosmos and Lethbridge Chargers merged together last fall to become Lethbridge Football Club)
Please make a note in your agendas, day planners, meetings etc., that the 2009 Lethbridge Football Club Tournaments are:
Lethbridge FC Boys Tournament (formerly the Lethbridge Cosmos Tournament) - June 12, 13 & 14, 2009 As many of you already know, this is the largest Boys only Tournament in Western Canada.
This Lethbridge Soccer Association (LSA) and Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) sanctioned Tournaments is for Boys U12 thru U18 Tiers I, II & Tier III, and for Boys U10 non-competitive.
The U12 Boys will play 8 vs 8 this year.
The U10 Boys will play 7 vs 7 as they have in past years.
Lethbridge FC Girls Tournament - June 26, 27 & 28, 2009
This Lethbridge Soccer Association (LSA) and Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) sanctioned Tournaments is for Girls U12 thru U18 Tiers I, II & Tier III, and for Girls U10 non-competitive.
The U12 Girls will play 8 vs 8.
The U10 Girls will play 7 vs 7.
And, please note, the U18 Tournaments, both Boys and Girls in all Tiers, will be played for medals AND prize money.
As with every year, all entry fees received in the U18 divisions will be turned back in prize money for the top three finishers.
